Christina Nieves is a Los Angeles based actor and writer.
Born in Queens, NY, raised in South Florida, by way of Puerto Rico, Christina attended high school at the Dillard Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She made her way to Chicago, where she studied acting at The Theatre School at DePaul University. There she was the recipient of the Sarah Siddons Society Award. After graduating, she joined the acting ensemble of Teatro Vista, the only Equity Latinx theatre company in the Midwest.
Christina's TV credits include Difficult People, Iron Fist, Wisdom of the Crowd, and Bull. Her theater credits include Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Paramount Theatre, American Theatre Company, Northlight Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre, Second City, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Primary Stages, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and Atlantic Theater Company.
Christina's full-length play The Only One was a finalist for Quicksilver Theater Company's Playwrights of Color Summit and is currently in development. She is pursuing her Masters in Fine Arts in TV and Screenwriting at Stephens College. Christina is a proud member of Actors' Equity and SAG-AFTRA.
